Glass sculpture course | Espai Medusa

Glass is a unique material for expressing yourself through sculpture.

Transparent or colored, ductile, and amazingly versatile, can be used in almost all types of works.

Level 1: We will focus on relief and casting techniques, which require a furnace where we will fuse the glass. In both cases, we will begin by creating a clay work, from which we will make molds that will then be used to work with float glass.
Level 2: If you have already worked with glass and know that it is your material, you must explore more advanced techniques. We will work with casting making complex sculptures, using float glass and fusible glass.

You will have the opportunity to create your own project.

You can also learn the lost wax technique to create unique pieces.

In all the courses there is the possibility of doing more hours.

The more technique you have, the less you have to worry about it.

Regular courses

Have a minimum of two (2) months, so the progress can be seen.

Intensive courses and summer courses

Have a duration of 12 hours, 24 hours or more, distributing them according to your needs in a maximum of one month and a half. You can choose a discipline or opt for a multidisciplinary workshop where you combine more than one option.
